We run several extremely popular Adult Horse Camps annually at Pontispool.  These camps are open to all levels of rider over the age of 18 years.  We offer fabulous facilities and accommodation to suit all budgets.  We organise everything for you, including expert tuition from our experienced instructors, as well as a specialist speaker or demonstration for one evening and a fun competition and prize giving on the last day.  Our in house catering team provide amazing food throughout the weekend.   

All you need to do is bring your horse and we will do the rest!

Are you hoping for a successful Eventing season in 2026? If so, then come and sharpen up your riding skills at our specialist Eventer's Camp, running from 27th February to 1st March 2026. For those confidently jumping 80cm and higher, this intensive weekend of training is the ideal way to prepare for the competition season ahead. 

Alongside sessions in cross country and show jumping, you will also receive training in flatwork & polework - giving you the best possible start to achieving your new year goals. Provisional instructors are Cameron Beer, Jo Rimmer and Abbie Lynch.

(Riders must be 18+ years old or 16/17 with adult supervision).

We are excited to announce a brand new Pontispool Show Jumping Camp for 2026, running on 26th-28th June. This camp is perfect for those wishing to uplevel their show jumping skills next year, whether that be just for fun or for those competing seriously in Eventing or British Show Jumping. 

This will be an intensive weekend of top-quality coaching, including sessions in flatwork, polework, gridwork, course jumping and the opportunity to train over a puissance wall.

Provisional instructors booked are Leigh Smallacombe, Gemma Hallett and Sarah Whittington (all BS registered coaches).

Please thank the whole team of miracle workers who wove magic into our first Pontispool camp. It has exceeded my expectations (which were already quite high).

The human accommodation was lovely and clean, the food was perfectly balanced and beyond delicious, your xc and arena facilities were exciting and well maintained and the horse yards worked well for us too. Chris was a good instructor with a bottomless depth of knowledge that he generously shared with us all.

Because the camp ran so smoothly it brought our the best in everyone which fed a feeling of solidarity between us all.

Thanks to the whole team.  I hope to be back soon.
